Job summary

HNTB Corporation is seeking a planning analyst to apply planning strategies, gather and analyze data, and develop reporting visuals for transportation and infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams from concept to project completion.

Requires a Bachelor's in Urban Planning, Geography, or Engineering and proficiency in GIS and MS Office. Preferred Master’s in urban planning, and experience with InDesign and MS Project.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field.
Understands GIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Compiles and summarizes data with direction from more experienced staff.
Reviews and summarizes research for review.

Responsibilities

Researches and collects raw data, analyzes and reviews data for projects.
Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
Assists with development of maps, exhibits, and presentation materials.
Conducts research on planning issues, policies and concepts.
Prepares plans, studies, reports and environmental documents for transportation projects.
Assists in stakeholder and public participation processes.
Maintains records and files for specific projects.
