HNTB is seeking an intern to assist with planning projects from concept through completion, gathering data, developing maps and exhibits, and preparing reports for transportation and infrastructure projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with an inter-disciplinary team and stakeholder engagement, and requires a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field, plus knowledge of GIS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field required.
• Familiarity with GIS software and Microsoft Office Suite expected.
• Ability to compile and summarize data and assist in preparing presentation materials.

Responsibilities

• Research and collect data, organize and analyze for projects.
• Assist project analysis using guidance and software.
• Support development of maps, exhibits, and reports.
• Contribute to planning studies and environmental documents for transportation projects.
• Assist in stakeholder and public participation processes.
