Job summary

HNTB is seeking a Planning intern/early-career role focused on urban and transportation planning. You will gather data, analyze outcomes, and develop visuals and reports to communicate findings. Duties include creating maps, exhibits, and supporting project documentation from concept to completion.

The position expects a Bachelor’s in urban planning, geography, or engineering and experience with GIS and MS Office. Candidates with internship exposure or related work are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering or related field.
• Proficient in GIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to compile and summarize data and prepare reports.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, organizes, analyzes and provides review of the data for use in projects and for further analysis.
• Performs project analyses using technical guidance and software.
• Assists project team with development of maps, exhibits, presentations and reporting.
• Supports planning activities from concept through project completion.
