Job summary

HNTB Corporation seeks a planning data analyst to apply planning strategies, gather and analyze data, and develop reporting and visuals. You will work with inter-disciplinary teams from concept through completion on transportation and infrastructure projects.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s in urban planning, geography, engineering, or related field; GIS and MS Office familiarity; and ability to summarize data for reports and presentations. Master’s in urban planning is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Geography, Engineering, or related field
• Familiarity with GIS software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to compile, summarize, and present data from various sources.
• Experience preparing reports and presentations with guidance from senior staff.

Responsibilities

• Researches and collects raw data, organizes, analyzes and provides review of the data for use in projects and for further analysis.
• Performs project analysis using technical guidance and software.
• Assists project team members with development of maps, exhibits, presentation materials, and reporting.
• Conducts research on issues, policies, and concepts pertaining to planning; develops conceptual planning alternatives for urban and transportation projects.
• Prepares and produces plans, studies, reports, and environmental documents for transportation and infrastructure projects.
• Assists in stakeholder and public participation processes.
• Maintains records, collections and files related to specific projects.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
