Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring a Trimmer Trainee. The role is full-time, non-exempt, with hourly pay. You will trim and remove trees, operate and service maintenance tools, load and unload trucks, and ensure safety around work sites.

This entry-level position offers hands-on training in a challenging outdoor environment. Minimum requirements include being 18+, comfortable with heights, and strong hand-eye coordination.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb and work from ladders at various heights on uneven surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Must have good hand-to-eye coordination.
• Entry-level position; no experience required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools and equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Maintains safe and orderly work areas, and protects workers and the public.
