Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer/Climber to perform tree trimming and removal tasks in a full-time, non-exempt role. You will operate and maintain equipment, load materials, and follow safety protocols to protect workers and the public.

Responsibilities include pruning, debris handling, equipment maintenance, and assisting in training new staff. A valid Driver's License is preferred; no specialized experience required for entry-level candidates.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• No fear of heights; ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions.
• Entry-level position; no prior tree-trimming experience required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operates and services required tools and equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas to prevent regrowth and maintains work area safety.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into woodchipper.
• Performs routine maintenance on tools and vehicles.
• Assists team, communicates with customers, and follows safety rules.
