Job summary

Asplundh Careers in Wisconsin is seeking a Trimmer Trainee for a full-time, non-exempt position. You will trim and remove trees, operate and service tools, load and unload trucks, and assist in maintenance on job sites. No experience required; high school diploma preferred and physical stamina a must.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position; no prior experience required.
• Able to work outdoors in varying weather and physically demanding conditions.
• Must be able to work with hands above head and on uneven surfaces.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services all required tools and equipment.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into a woodchipper.
• Performs general site maintenance and safety duties.
• Assists in training new employees.
• Keeps work areas clean and ensures safety of employees and the public.
