Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer Trainee in Wisconsin. This full-time, non-exempt role involves performing physically demanding outdoor work, trimming trees, operating and maintaining tools, and assisting in training new staff.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and be capable of handling heights, ladders, and heavy loads, while prioritizing safety and teamwork on job sites.

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform physically demanding work outdoors in varying weather.
• Must be able to work with hands above head and climb ladders.
• Must have good hand-eye coordination and balance.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees and branches, and cut debris into manageable pieces.
• Operate and service all required tools and equipment.
• Load and unload trucks; feed brush into a woodchipper.
• Set up barriers and signs to protect workers and the public.
• Maintain clean work areas and perform basic tool maintenance.
• Assist in training new employees and follow safety protocols.
