Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking a Trimmer Trainee in Wisconsin to join our field team. This full-time, non-exempt role involves trimming and removing trees, operating equipment, loading materials, and assisting in maintaining safe work zones.

The position offers on-site work with a focus on safety, proper tool maintenance, and teamwork while supporting customers and communities. No prior experience required; high school diploma preferred, with opportunities for training and career growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Walk, climb and work from ladders or at various heights on uneven surfaces under demanding weather conditions.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Sprays areas with equipment to prevent further growth.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds brush into a woodchipper.
• Repairs minor damage to lawns, fences, and walkways.
• Maintains safe work areas and follows safety protocols.
