Job summary

BrightView Landscapes LLC in Fresno, CA seeks a Climber I to perform basic tree care including pruning, cabling, bracing, lightning protection, and removals. You will support the team in site clearing and debris disposal.

The role requires safely accessing trees, operating chippers, trucks, blowers, and chainsaws with proper PPE. Strong work ethic and good communication are essential; candidates must meet physical demands and be able to work outdoors in varying weather.

Qualifications

• Experience with basic tree care and safety protocols.
• Ability to follow directions and established procedures.
• Ability to interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic tree care operations such as pruning and limb removal.
• Access a tree safely and move through the canopy while protecting surroundings.
• Safely operate powered equipment including chippers, trucks and blowers.
• Use chainsaw techniques in ground and canopy contexts.
• Use hand tools like saws, pruners, rakes and shovels for tasks.
• Wear PPE per industry standards.
• Maintain safe, organized work zones.
• Prevent property damage and injury during operations.
