Job summary

BrightView Landscapes LLC in Santa Ana, CA is seeking a Climber I to support general tree care, including pruning, cabling, bracing, lightning protection, and removals. You will assist the crew in site work, debris handling, and disposal, both on ground and in the canopy, using proper PPE and safe techniques.

The role requires operating chippers and similar equipment, basic chainsaw skills, and organized work practices.

Qualifications

• Demonstration of role specific skills or verifiable requisite experience.
• Able to follow directions and established procedures for roping and rigging, maintenance of equipment, and reporting malfunctioning equipment.
• Read and interpret essential safety rules and instructions.
• Ability to communicate with team and public to ensure safety.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic tree care operations on ground and in trees (up to 60 feet).
• Access trees safely and move through canopy while avoiding damage or injury.
• Operate powered equipment such as chippers, trucks, and blowers.
• Perform basic to intermediate chainsaw tasks and use hand tools to complete tasks.
• Wear PPE and maintain a safe, organized work zone.
• Follow safety protocols to prevent property damage and injuries.
