Job summary

BrightView Landscapes LLC is seeking a Climber I to perform basic tree care, including pruning, cabling, bracing, and removals. You will support the team in site clearing and debris disposal, with a focus on safety and efficiency in outdoor environments.

The role requires basic climbing skills, ability to operate powered equipment, and adherence to company protocols. Candidates must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends, and wear required PPE on site.

Qualifications

• Experience in pruning, cabling, bracing, and tree removals; ability to read and follow procedures.
• Ability to safely operate chainsaws and other powered equipment; adherence to safety standards.
• Familiarity with using hand tools like hand saws, pole saws, rakes, and shovels as part of tree care.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic tree care operations up to 60 feet tall.
• Access trees safely and move through canopy while minimizing damage.
• Operate chippers, trucks, and blowers safely.
• Use chainsaw techniques both ground-based and canopy-based.
• Utilize hand tools to perform tree care tasks.
• Wear and follow PPE according to standards.
• Maintain a safe and organized work zone.
• Follow plans to prevent property damage and injury during operations.
