State of West Virginia is seeking an entry level professional engineer who will serve as a project manager within the Engineering In-House Design Section. The role involves coordinating with multiple divisions and consultants to develop construction and right-of-way plans, scoping projects, reviewing plans, and assembling PS&E packages.

The incumbent may supervise Engineers-in-Training and Transportation Engineering Technicians and will conduct site reviews while supporting daily operations.

Competenze

• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of West Virginia (or licensed in another state with the ability to obtain WV P.E. registration by comity within 6 months of hire)
• Bachelor's degree in civil, electrical, mechanical, industrial, petroleum, mining, environmental, engineering technology, or a related engineering field from an ABET-accredited program.
• Degree transcript or diploma must be attached for verification.

Mansioni

• Serve as project manager of assigned projects and supervise Engineers-in-Training and Transportation Engineering Technicians as needed.
• Collaborate with other Divisions, Districts, and consultants on construction and right-of-way plans.
• Assist with project scoping, peer plan reviews, and assembling PS&E packages for construction.
• Conduct site visit review meetings during project development and support daily operations of the Engineering Division.
