Job summary

Horner & Shifrin, Inc. seeks a full-time entry-level Civil Engineer to work in our Transportation business unit.

You will work under a licensed engineer to develop plans, specifications, and estimates, and prepare quality 3D models for design to be used by clients in the construction phase. Responsibilities include collaborating on transportation projects for municipal, county, and state agencies, assisting in reports and feasibility studies, and completing tasks within a project team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering is required.
• 0–2 years of experience for an entry-level role.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.
• Must complete a background check.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Work under a licensed engineer on PS&E development.
• Prepare quality 3D models for design to be used by clients in construction.
• Contribute to transportation engineering services for municipal, county and state agencies.
• Assist in reports and feasibility studies.
• Complete assigned tasks within a project as part of a team.
