Job summary

Horner & Shifrin is seeking a full-time entry-level Engineer to join our Transportation business unit. This position requires 0-2 years of experience and offers exposure to municipal, county, and state transportation projects under supervision of a licensed engineer.

You will develop PS&E, prepare quality 3D models for construction, and assist in reports and feasibility studies while contributing to team-based project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• 0–2 years of experience preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of design software a plus.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Work under a licensed engineer.
• Develop PS&E (plans, specifications, and estimates).
• Prepare quality 3D models for construction.
• Perform transportation engineering for municipal, county and state agencies.
• Assist in reports and feasibility studies.
• Complete assigned tasks within a project.
