Job summary

Rockwell Automation seeks an Associate Technical Sales Specialist as part of the EDGE Technical Sales and Consulting Program. You start in a structured training program, rotate into field service engineering for hands‑on learning, and transition to customer interactions under mentoring.

This role supports pre‑sales activities, demos, and technical guidance across a defined geography with location flexibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
• Legal authorization to work in the US; no visa sponsorship.
• Must be location flexible.
• A valid US driver's license.
• 3.0 cumulative GPA (preferred).
• Intern or co‑op experience with Rockwell Automation or partners (preferred).
• Bachelor's/Master's in technical fields (Engineering or related).
• Graduating in or before Dec 2026 / Spring 2027 or within the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Respond to prospect emails, phone calls, and demo requests.
• Explain capability and benefits of Rockwell products to customers.
• Provide pre-sales technical support for a defined product range and geography.
• Assist with commercial marketing activities and interface with product teams.
• Be the local interface for product and quality issues and provide post‑sales troubleshooting.
• Serve as a technical resource within area(s) of expertise.
