Job summary

Rockwell Automation is seeking an Associate Technical Sales Specialist as part of the EDGE Technical Sales and Consulting Program. You will begin with formal training, respond to prospect inquiries, demonstrate the value of Rockwell products, and support pre‑sales activities within a defined US geography.

Qualifications

• The Essentials - You Will Have: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• The Essentials - You Will Have: Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future
• The Essentials - You Will Have: Must be location flexible
• The Essentials - You Will Have: A valid US drivers license
• The Preferred - You Might Also Have: 3.0 cumulative GPA
• The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Previous intern experience with Rockwell Automation, our Partner Network, or our customer
• The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Bachelor's/Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Engineering Sales, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Supply Chain, or other similar, technical degrees
• The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Graduating in or before December 2026 or Spring 2027, or within the past 3 years from Spring 2027
• The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Previous co‑op or intern experience in manufacturing, product marketing, or customer‑facing role
• The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Must be location flexible
• The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Met at an on‑campus event event or national conference
• The Preferred - You Might Also Have: Experience and knowledge with technical skills and/or domains

Responsibilities

• Respond to prospect emails, phone calls, and demo requests showcasing capability and benefits of our portfolio to customers
• Provide technical support in pre‑sales activities for a defined range of products within a geography
• Interface with product teams, be the contact for product and quality issues, provide post sales troubleshooting when needed
• Act as a local interface with Tech Support and be a technical resource for Rockwell Automation products

Education

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

Bachelor's/Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Engineering Sales, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Supply Chain
