Jackson Hewitt Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Entry Level Tax Preparer to guide clients through basic tax returns, explain forms, and ensure accurate e-filing with IRS and states. You will conduct face-to-face interviews, complete returns, and provide IRS audit support as needed.

This role emphasizes customer service, clear communication, and accuracy in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided, with flexible day/night/weekend schedules and both full-time and part-time options nationwide.

Qualifications

• Customer service excellence and strong communication.
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of computers and math.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth and increase client retention.
• Provide clients with IRS audit support.
• Complete all related tax forms in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Process client payments and ensure timely deposits.
• Support marketing and business development efforts.
• Advise clients to ensure correct tax form completion.
• Answer client calls via our national call center.
• Provide guidance on future tax planning.
• Resolve client issues or escalate to supervisor as needed.
• Collaborate with office team to support priorities.
