Job summary

Jackson Hewitt seeks a Seasonal Entry Level Tax Preparer to guide clients through tax rules, prepare forms, and provide expert tax knowledge. You will conduct face-to-face interviews, prepare returns, and help grow the client base while delivering excellent customer service.

Great for those breaking into the tax industry, with opportunities for part-time or full-time schedules and a flexible work arrangement. Training is provided to build tax proficiency and client engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic knowledge of computer functions and math.
• Sales and/or marketing experience is a plus for driving client growth.
• Experience in accounting, finance, retail, bookkeeping, or tax is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth and client retention, offering additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS audit support.
• Complete tax forms in compliance with policies and regulations.
• Process client payments and deposits timely.
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
