Jackson Hewitt Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Entry Level Tax Preparer to guide clients through tax forms, explain tax requirements, and complete accurate returns. You will conduct client interviews, prepare returns, and provide IRS audit support as needed.

Training is provided, with flexible day/night/weekend hours and opportunities for growth. This role offers a chance to learn the tax industry and build a resume while working either full-time or part-time.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic computer skills and math
• Sales/marketing experience
• Accounting/finance/tax knowledge
• PTIN certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth and client retention.
• Provide clients with IRS audit support.
• Complete tax forms in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Handle payments and deposits as needed.
