Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group in Brighton, MI is seeking an entry-level Recruiter to support day-to-day recruiting activities. This role focuses on coordinating interviews, assisting candidate communication, and ensuring a positive candidate experience while partnering with hiring leaders.

You’ll gain exposure to full lifecycle recruiting, post openings, review resumes, and help with offers and pre-employment steps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience preferred.
• Interest in recruiting or Talent Acquisition.
• Strong communicator who can build meaningful relationships with candidates and hiring leaders.
• High attention to detail and follow-through.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment where priorities can change quickly.
• Outgoing, energetic personality who genuinely enjoys connecting with people.
• Coachable, positive, and open to feedback.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate a high volume of interviews, including scheduling with candidates and hiring leaders across multiple calendars.
• Communicate with candidates throughout the process to provide updates, confirmations, and a great overall experience.
• Post and maintain job openings across approved platforms.
• Review resumes and assist with initial candidate outreach and screening as needed.
• Support administrative tasks throughout the hiring process.
• Help track candidate activity and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system.
• Partner with hiring leaders to ensure interview logistics run smoothly.
• Assist with offer coordination and pre-employment steps.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas to improve recruiting processes.
