Morris & Ritchie Associates, Inc. (MRA) and Geo-Technology Associates, Inc. (GTA) are seeking a motivated Recruiting Specialist to join our Corporate Recruiting team in Abingdon, MD.

This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, is eager to learn, and wants to build a career in recruiting. Hours are 8AM–5PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime. The position will initially be in-office, with potential for a hybrid schedule after a training period of

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications or a related field preferred, not required.
• US citizen or Permanent Resident - visa sponsorship is not available for this role.
• Entry-level position with training provided.
• Previous recruiting or HR experience is helpful, but not required.
• Comfortable communicating with a variety of people.

Responsibilities

• Source and engage active and passive candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, social media, and other recruiting platforms.
• Coordinate and schedule virtual and in-person interviews.
• Pre-screen candidates and conduct reference checks.
• Prepare and send offer letters and coordinate the offer process.
• Post and manage job openings through our ATS, LinkedIn, Indeed, and other sites.
• Partner with recruiters and hiring managers throughout the recruiting process.
• Maintain accurate candidate and requisition information in the ATS.
• Support onboarding by coordinating new hire paperwork and pre-employment requirements.
• Learn about the engineering, environmental, surveying, construction, and related positions we recruit for.
• Stay current on recruiting trends, tools, and best practices.
