Textron Systems, Hunt Valley, MD, is seeking a 2027 Systems Engineer (Uncrewed Land & Air) for an entry-level role. You’ll contribute to the full lifecycle of complex systems, collaborate across disciplines, and gain hands-on experience with mentorship and development opportunities.

Ideal candidates have a degree in engineering or related fields and MBSE experience, with travel up to 15%. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in systems engineering, electrical, mechanical, CS, software engineering, or related field.
• Experience with DOORS, JIRA, MagicDraw (or equivalent) and model-based systems engineering is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 15%
• U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a security clearance

Responsibilities

• Working in an interdisciplinary role, enabling the full life cycle of successful systems.
• Performing requirements analysis to understand customer needs.
• Developing architecture models to support requirements development and derivation.
• Using requirements management and test tools to decompose program requirements.
• Supporting integration and test of system components.
• Developing plans and procedures for integration and test to verify product integration.
• Performing analysis of data extracted from testing.
