Job summary

Textron Systems in Hunt Valley, MD is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer (Uncrewed Land & Air) to contribute to real projects from day one, with mentorship and cross-functional exposure. You’ll perform requirements analysis, develop architecture models, and support integration and test of system components using MBSE tools such as DOORS, JIRA and MagicDraw.

Travel up to 15% and US citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant engineering/science field.
• Experience with DOORS, JIRA, MagicDraw (or equivalent) and model-based systems engineering is a plus.
• Ability to travel up to 15% and U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Work in an interdisciplinary role supporting the full system life cycle.
• Perform requirements analysis to understand customer needs.
• Develop architecture models to support requirements development and derivation.
• Use requirements management and test tools to decompose program requirements.
• Support integration and test of system components.
• Develop plans and procedures for integration and test to verify product integration.
• Analyze data extracted from testing.

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in systems engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer science, software engineering, or another physical science
