Job summary

Textron Systems, based in Hunt Valley, MD, is seeking an entry‑level Systems Engineer I to support development of robotics and unmanned systems. You will participate in requirements support, integration, testing, and fielding solutions for defense and commercial customers.

You will work with experienced engineers to develop foundational skills in requirements analysis, MBSE, and hardware/software integration across the full lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in systems engineering or related field.
• 0–2 years engineering experience; internships welcome.
• Proficiency with hardware/software systems a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in systems engineering tasks across the product lifecycle.
• Learn MBSE and SysML with guidance from senior engineers.
• Support integration and testing for UGVs/UAVs; help analyze test data.
• Collaborate with leads, engineers, and program staff on documentation.
