Job summary

Textron Systems is offering a 2027 Co-Op for a Systems Engineer focused on Uncrewed Land & Air, located in Hunt Valley, MD. The role supports the full lifecycle from requirements to integration, with hands-on testing and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

The successful candidate will be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in an engineering or computer science field, have internship experience, and be eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in systems engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Technical internship experience preferred.
• Experience with Matlab, DOORS, JIRA, MagicDraw (or MBSE) is a plus.
• Ability to work 40 hours/week (schedule varies).
• Must be a U.S. citizen with ability to obtain a security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Perform requirements analysis to understand customer needs.
• Develop architecture models to support derivation of system requirements.
• Integrate components and subsystems into Ground Vehicles.
• Develop integration test plans and procedures for product verification.
• Analyze data from testing to drive design decisions.
• Work across engineering disciplines to solve complex problems.
• Drive tasks to completion independently.
• Other duties as needed.
