SimVentions, Inc in Woodbridge, VA is seeking an entry-level Systems Engineer to support the Tactical Tomahawk Weapons Control System (TTWCS). You will work with MBSE methods to develop requirements, update interfaces, and create architectural models while collaborating with government personnel.

The role requires US citizenship for potential security clearance and involves weekly travel to NSWC Dahlgren. A Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required, and you will join a team that values

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or technical field.
• Experience with MBSE and system design.
• DoD program or weapon system experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Determine impacts on the weapon system, requirements, and other design specs during engineering development.
• Review, analyze, and create requirements at multiple levels (SSS, SSDD, SRS, HRS).
• Develop CCPs to engineer new capabilities and document design details.
• Review and develop system architectures using modeling tools like MagicDraw.
• Provide human factors engineering and analysis for UI requirements.
• Adjudicate comments for external interface documents and manage change requests.
• Participate in IPT meetings and related boards with engineering and schedule status updates.
• Engage in weekly team meetings and communicate engineering summaries clearly.
