Job summary

Van Ausdall & Farrar in Indianapolis, IN, is seeking a Level 1 Systems Engineer to deliver frontline technical support across client environments and internal teams.

You will troubleshoot, document, and resolve incidents via ticketing, monitor alerts, and collaborate with MSP staff to ensure world-class service. 1–2 years IT help desk experience and familiarity with networking, AD, and security are preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience in IT Support or Help Desk required.
• Demonstrated ability to diagnose and resolve common infrastructure issues.
• Strong communication skills and customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Respond to support requests via ticketing system in a timely manner.
• Monitor and respond to alerts from monitoring platforms.
• Interact with customers to provide real-time remote support.
• Document all interactions and updates in tickets per MSP protocols.
• Escalate tickets according to established procedures when needed.
• Collaborate with management to learn VAF Managed Services platforms.
