Bowman Consulting in Marshall, TX is seeking a Survey Instrument Operator I to join our team in Marshall, Texas. This role involves setting up and operating survey instruments, performing surveys, and supporting field crews on boundary, topography, ALTA, right‑of‑way, and construction surveys.

You will help maintain equipment and ensure accurate data collection in outdoor environments. The position requires a high school diploma (or GED) with relevant coursework in surveying or math, and

Formación

• High school diploma or GED preferred. Commensurate relevant experience considered.
• College or technical courses in mathematics and surveying.
• Entry level position, no prior experience required. Any survey or construction related experience a plus.
• Travel and overtime required.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record required.

Responsabilidades

• Set‑up and operate survey equipment, including total‑station, data‑collector, level, and GPS.
• Perform survey calculations.
• Perform all aspects of stakeout and locations surveys using applicable survey equipment.
• Maintain survey equipment used and keep survey truck stocked with necessary supplies and tools.
• Make accuracy and calibration checks and adjustments on equipment used.
