Job summary

Volunteers of America is seeking an Entry Level Shallow Subsidy Case Manager to direct and facilitate the delivery of support services for participant households. The role includes needs-based assessments, outreach, case management, and service coordination.

This position emphasizes applying field-relevant practices, documenting client interactions, and collaborating across teams. Traveling across the service area is required; location includes Colorado off Denver offices under the SSVF program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or closely related field.
• Colorado driver’s license and automobile insurance are required.
• Personal vehicle for work-related travel may be used and mileage is reimbursed.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management services to program clients.
• Identify and serve the needs of participant households with barriers to housing stability.
• Conduct needs-based screenings and program eligibility assessments.
• Engage in community outreach to identify eligible households.
• Document all client interactions with required eligibility and demographic data.
• Operate professionally and maintain confidentiality across teams.
