Job summary

Volunteers of America Colorado is seeking an entry-level Shallow Subsidy Case Manager 1 to direct and facilitate the delivery of support services for participant households. You will conduct needs-based assessments, engage in community outreach, and document client interactions while coordinating program services.

You will work to apply field-relevant best practices, maintain confidentiality, and participate in professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in human services, social work, or a closely related field.
• Colorado driver’s license and state-mandated auto insurance.
• Personal vehicle may be used for work-related travel (mileage reimbursable).
• Must complete agency credentialing within 12 weeks of hire and maintain credentialing thereafter.

Responsibilities

• Provides case management services to program clients.
• Identifies and serves needs of participant households in VOA programs.
• Conducts needs-based screenings using screening and assessment tools.
• Engages in community outreach to identify eligible households facing housing barriers.
• Documents all client interactions and required eligibility/demographic information.
• Maintains professionalism and confidentiality across teams.
