Job summary

IMEG is seeking a Structural Engineering New Graduate to join our Chicago or Naperville team. This entry-level role provides hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience with mentorship and training from day one.

You will work with experienced engineers on structural systems for commercial and institutional buildings, developing designs, documents, and construction support while adhering to budgets and client expectations.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or equivalent.
• MS in Structural Engineering preferred.
• Knowledge of structural design and materials is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of structural systems.
• Interact with clients to understand project needs.
• Support project planning and execution to meet deadlines.
• Document design decisions and project progress.
• Analyze low to medium complexity tasks with senior staff.
• Follow IMEG quality control processes and standards.
• Stay current on industry trends and innovations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for integrated solutions.
• Support projects from conception through construction.
• Work within project budgets and client expectations.
