Job summary

IMEG is hiring a Structural Engineering New Graduate in Chicago or Naperville, Illinois. This entry-level role offers hands-on design, analysis, and project execution experience, with mentorship, training, and opportunities to grow your expertise from day one.

You will work closely with experienced engineers and consultants to support structural systems for buildings and other structures. You will help develop designs and project documents, support construction-phase activities, and collaborate

Qualifications

• BS in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering or equivalent required.
• Strong design and analytical skills for structural systems.
• Willingness to learn and collaborate in teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist in design and analysis of structural systems using building materials and software.
• Interact with clients to understand project needs and build relationships.
• Support project planning, scheduling, and execution as part of a consulting project team.
• Document design decisions and monitor project progress.
• Analyze low to medium complexity tasks with senior engineers.
• Participate in IMEG quality control processes to meet standards.
• Stay current on industry trends and contribute to innovation efforts.
• Collaborate across engineers, architects, and project managers to deliver integrated solutions.
• Support projects through full life cycle from conception to construction.
