Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal in the United States seeks undergraduates and non-MBA master's graduates for a Management Consulting Associate role in the Consumer and Retail Group. This full-time program starts September 2027, with graduation windows Dec 2026–Jul 2027, and positions based in Tampa, FL.

You will engage in Growth Strategy, large-scale transformation, M&A, operations, merchandising and digital analytics, working with CRG consultants on real client projects.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or non-MBA master's degree from a top university.
• Internship or relevant experience in consumer/retail, consulting, or corporate roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
• Analytical and data-fluent with ability to distill insights into clear actions.
• Polished communicator with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel up to 70% (Monday–Friday).

Responsibilities

• Support growth strategy and transformation initiatives.
• Contribute to large-scale transformation and PMO programs.
• Assist in M&A, carve-out and post-merger integration.
• Support merchandising, assortment optimization and channel strategies.
• Engage in digital analytics/IT strategy projects.
• Collaborate with CRG consultants and clients on real projects.
