Alvarez & Marsal's Consumer & Retail Group seeks a Management Consulting Associate for full-time undergraduate or non-MBA master’s candidates graduating between December 2026 and July 2027, with an anticipated class start in September 2027. The role emphasizes analytical rigor, ownership, collaboration, and strong communication as you contribute to growth, transformation, and analytics projects.

The compensation package includes a salary range of $100,000–$115,000 per year plus a discretionary

Qualifications

• Undergraduate or non-MBA master’s degree from a top university.
• Internship or relevant experience in consumer/retail, consulting, or corporate roles with financial/operational focus.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access.
• Analytical and data-fluent, able to distill complex insights into clear actions.
• Polished communicator with strong written, verbal, and presentation skills.
• Willing to travel up to 70% (Mon–Fri).

Responsibilities

• Participate in onboarding bootcamp and training to develop quantitative and qualitative skills.
• Collaborate on real client projects with CRG consultants and gain visibility with senior leadership.
• Receive mentorship via hands-on apprenticeship and 1-on-1 coaching.
• Build your network through curated events with CRG and A&M professionals.
