Job summary

Sherwin-Williams offers an accelerated Management & Sales Training Program designed to prepare you for a Store Management role within 18-24 months. You’ll learn operations, sales, and leadership to drive growth for large commercial customers in the Charleston market.

The program includes an 8-week initial training and a path to Assistant Store Manager upon successful completion. Expect a 44-hour work week, potential evenings/weekends, and a focus on customer service and profitability.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen years old.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
• Must have at least a bachelor's degree by start of program.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Complete training consistent with established program.
• Support business strategies to increase sales and profitability.
• Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
• Build knowledge of all products to make effective recommendations.
• Build relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
• Complete store administration and maintain merchandising standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety and security policies.
• Lead and train employees, manage performance, and address issues.
• Respond to customer and employee inquiries and resolve complaints.
• Partner with Store Manager to expand outside sales and market share.
