Job summary

Sherwin-Williams is seeking candidates for its Management & Sales Training Program, an accelerated, entry-level track designed to prepare you for Store Management in 18–24 months. With our promote-from-within philosophy, you will have the opportunity to advance into an Assistant Store Manager role upon successful completion of the initial training.

The program runs about 44 hours per week, including some evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years old.
Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
Must have a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License.
Must have at least a bachelor's degree by start of program.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally.

Responsibilities

Complete training consistent with the program.
Support business strategies to increase sales and profitability.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through service.
Build and maintain product knowledge for effective recommendations.
Develop relationships with wholesale and retail customers.
Complete store administration tasks.
Ensure compliance with safety, loss prevention, and security policies.
Maintain store condition and visual merchandising standards.
Assist in employee training, development, and performance management; address complaints.
