Job summary

UCHealth Longs Peak Hospital in Longmont, CO is hiring for an entry-level Sterile Processing role in the LPH Sterile Process department. This onsite position offers a full-time schedule with a flex shift and a pay range of $21.49–$27.94 per hour, dependent on experience.

The role develops core sterile processing skills, including decontamination, instrument inspection, and sterilization. A High School diploma or GED is required, and CSPDT/CRCST certification must be earned within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Within 1 year of hire: CSPDT (CBSPD) or CRCST (HSPA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs instrument and equipment decontamination and cleaning following IFUs.
• Performs visual inspection of instruments and equipment prior to assembly and packaging.
• Performs appropriate sterilization of instruments and equipment based on IFUs and checks indicators/labels.
• Documents work performed using instrument tracking software or paper documentation.
• Works with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and applies critical thinking.
