Job summary

UCHealth Medical Center of the Rockies in Loveland, CO, is seeking an entry-level Sterile Processing Associate for the Night shift. The position is full-time, onsite, with a pay range of $23.49–$30.53 per hour, dependent on experience.

Responsibilities include decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, documentation, and instrument tracking. Minimum requirements are a High School diploma or GED and CSPDT or CRCST certification.

• Certified CSPDT (CBSPD) or CRCST (HSPA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs instrument and equipment decontamination and cleaning following IFU's; disassembles items and inspects before assembly and packaging.
• Performs appropriate sterilization of instruments/equipment based on IFUs; inspects external indicators, filters and labels.
• Performs routine cleaning and sterilizer testing, including biological monitoring, leak testing, Bowie-Dick tests as appropriate.
• Documents work using instrument tracking software or paper documentation as required.
• Exhibits critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
