Job summary

UCHealth Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, CO is seeking an entry-level Sterile Processing Technician to perform core sterile processing functions on-site. You will decontaminate, clean, and sterilize instruments, document work, and support fast-paced operations with minimal supervision.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and CSPDT/CRCST certification; 3 months' experience is preferred. This onsite role offers dedicated career growth and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• CSPDT or CRCST certification from CBSPD or HSPA.
• Preferred: 3 months' certified experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs instrument and equipment decontamination and cleaning following IFU's.
• Disassembles items before choosing appropriate cleaning method.
• Performs appropriate sterilization of instrument and equipment based on IFUs.
• Inspects and ensures all external indicators, filters and labels are appropriate.
• Documents work performed utilizing instrument tracking software/paper documentation as required.
• Work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
