Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field; up to 1–3 years of finance/accounting experience.
• Proficiency with SQL and data management tools (QMF, SQL Server, TOAD).
• Strong MS Office skills including Excel and Access; good time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist with analysis and review of the organization's financial performance by collecting, analyzing and reporting financial and statistical data.
• Maintain records of organization's financial activity in accordance with GAAP, organizational standards, and in compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley and similar regulatory requirements.
• Work with various departments to assist with their expense management strategies and procedures.
• Analyze trends affecting budget needs.
• Support the preparation of operating budgets with and for various departments to support organization's expense management goals.
• Perform accounting functions for the organization, including record keeping and reporting.
• Examine and review unusual cost records and ensure cost data is allocated correctly.
• Support the creation of standard reports on financial performance for internal and external use.
• Create and utilize automated tools for the updating, analyzing and reporting of consolidated financial results.
