Job Title: Entry Level Staff Accountant (Billing / Financial Analyst) (1–2 Years Experience)
Location: Reston, VA – Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Pay Rate: $25–$28/hour
Duration: Temporary (1–2 years) – Maternity Leave Coverage with Potential for Long-Term Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for a bright, early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in billing and financial operations within a fast-paced, international environment.
While this is a temporary role covering maternity leave, strong performers are often offered long-term roles within the team.
Prepare, maintain, and update customer billing schedules and invoices
Submit final invoices to customers for payment
Monitor and follow up on customer aging reports to ensure timely collections
Participate in month-end close processes related to billing
Collaborate cross-functionally to support accurate and timely financial reporting
Work extensively in Excel; manipulate data, create reports, and reconcile discrepancies
Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding billing inquiries
Contribute to process improvements and assist in client presentations as needed
Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting preferred, but open to other majors)
1–2 years of experience in billing, financial analysis, or related accounting functions
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, etc.)
Comfortable with month-end close activities
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
SAP experience is a plus, but not required
Professionalism and the ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
Work in a energetic team of professionals
