Job Title: Entry Level Staff Accountant (Billing / Financial Analyst) (1–2 Years Experience)
Location: Reston, VA – Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Pay Rate: $25–$28/hour
Duration: Temporary (1–2 years) – Maternity Leave Coverage with Potential for Long-Term Opportunity

Overview:

This is an exciting opportunity for a bright, early-career professional to gain hands-on experience in billing and financial operations within a fast-paced, international environment.

While this is a temporary role covering maternity leave, strong performers are often offered long-term roles within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, maintain, and update customer billing schedules and invoices

• Submit final invoices to customers for payment

• Monitor and follow up on customer aging reports to ensure timely collections

• Participate in month-end close processes related to billing

• Collaborate cross-functionally to support accurate and timely financial reporting

• Work extensively in Excel; manipulate data, create reports, and reconcile discrepancies

• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams regarding billing inquiries

• Contribute to process improvements and assist in client presentations as needed

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree (Finance, Accounting preferred, but open to other majors)

• 1–2 years of experience in billing, financial analysis, or related accounting functions

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, formulas, etc.)

• Comfortable with month-end close activities

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication skills

• SAP experience is a plus, but not required

• Professionalism and the ability to work well in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
