Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Jr./Entry-Level Systems Engineer for Integration & Test (SEIT) to support NASA missions from Wallops Flight Facility in VA. The role spans requirements, integration, and verification across space-ground systems, working with cross-functional teams to ensure mission-critical performance.

You will assist in test planning, system-level testing, and operations, traveling as needed and pursuing necessary clearances. A BS in engineering and basic I&T experience are expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering and 0–2+ years of related experience.
• Experience with I&T within systems engineering.
• Experience with test automation tools and scripting.
• Experience with Windows and Linux servers.
• MS Office proficiency for briefings, schedules and docs.
• Willingness to travel several weeks per year.
• Public Trust background check with ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizen.

Responsibilities

• Support development of system requirements and interface documentation.
• Assist in integrating technology for mission projects.
• Develop and execute test plans and system review packages.
• Perform system-level testing with ground systems equipment.
• Support GSTF management tasks for DTE hardware/software.
• Assist orbital and launch operations activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT Security and Mission Leads.
