Job summary

Peraton is hiring a Jr./Entry-Level Systems Engineer for Integration & Test (SEIT) to support NASA at Wallops Flight Facility in VA. You will join a diverse team performing requirements development, integration, and end-to-end testing of space-ground systems.

The role includes test planning, verification, and collaboration with Operations, IT Security, and Mission Assurance. Travel and a Secret clearance are expected; U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline and 0–2+ years of related experience.
• Experience with development, integration, and test within the systems engineering function.
• Experience with test automation tools and scripting languages.
• Experience with Windows and Linux servers.
• Ability to travel up to several weeks per year.
• This position requires a Public Trust background check and ability to obtain a Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Support development of system requirements and interface documentation.
• Support developing and integrating various technology for critical mission projects.
• Support, develop, and execute test plans and system review packages.
• Perform system level testing with ground systems equipment for end-to-end testing in GSTF.
• Support GSTF management tasks involving DTE hardware and software.
• Support orbital and launch operations activities.
• Collaborate with Operations, IT Security, Mission Assurance and Task Order Leads.
