Job summary

Peraton is seeking a Jr./Entry-Level Systems Engineer for Integration & Test (SEIT) to support NASA at Wallops Flight Facility in VA. You will join the SENSE team, helping design, integrate, test, and operate space-ground systems to enable current and future missions.

You will work with cross-functional groups to develop system requirements, create test plans, perform system-level testing in GSTF, and assist with orbital and launch operations, with travel as needed for DTE activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline with 0–2+ years of related experience.
• Experience with development, integration, and test within systems engineering.
• Experience with Test Automation Tools and scripting (C++, Python, MATLAB, Perl, UNIX).
• Experience with Windows and Linux servers (RedHat, CentOS).
• Proficiency using MS Office for briefings, schedules, documents, and Excel manipulation.
• Ability to travel for several weeks per year for DTE activities.
• Eligibility for a Public Trust background check and ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Support development of system requirements and interface documentation.
• Assist developing and integrating technology for critical mission projects.
• Develop and execute test plans and system review packages.
• Perform system-level testing with ground systems equipment for end-to-end testing in GSTF.
• Support GSTF management tasks involving DTE hardware and software.
• Assist with orbital and launch operations activities.
• Collaborate across Operations, IT Security, Mission Assurance and Task Order Leads to deliver requirements.
