Job summary

Carlton in Paramount, CA is seeking an experienced saw operator to cut raw material billets with precision using a PCC controlled band saw. You will read blueprints and job orders to match product specifications and select correct material and tools.

The role requires handling up to 35 lbs, standing for long periods, and adherence to safety policies; overtime may be required. ITAR and U.S. work eligibility are noted in this posting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• 2–5+ years experience for Level A, 0–2 years for Level B.
• Able to read manufacturing documents in English and use measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Comply with PCC Code of Conduct Requirements.
• Perform duties safely and report hazards to a supervisor.
• Promote safety practices and use PPE as required.
• Conduct pre-operational inspections of equipment and tooling.
• Operate band saw and complete setups and blade changes.
• Weight material per orders and ensure correct quantities.
