Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. is seeking a Saw-Shear (Cutter) Operator - Level 01 at our South Gate, CA facility. You will set up material types/sizes, operate cutting equipment, and troubleshoot malfunctions while maintaining production logs and updating the ERP system.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of related experience. Applicants must read specifications, perform basic math, and be attentive to detail for accurate cuts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Ability to perform basic math and geometry calculations.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work safely under PPE and safety guidelines.
• Read job travelers to determine material type, size, and stock.
• Move stock to machines using forklift or overhead crane.
• Install and adjust saw blades, tension, speed, and guides.
• Measure finished work to ensure specifications are met.
• Record data sheets and update production logs in the ERP system.
• Other duties as assigned.
