Job summary
Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC in Bakersfield, CA seeks a Saw Machine Operator to cut aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys to exact customer specifications using manual and CNC equipment. You will read specs, verify dimensions with micrometers/calipers, and maintain tight tolerances in a fast-paced shop.
The role requires standing and lifting up to 50 lbs, with ERP systems experience. We offer continuous cross-training, competitive hourly pay with a production bonus, medical/dental/vision,
Qualifications
- Solid math and measurement skills.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and stretch.
- Lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Detail oriented and able to multi-task.
- Familiar with ERP systems.
Responsibilities
- Operate manual and CNC machinery to cut aluminum, stainless steel, and other alloys.
- Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
- Use micrometers and calipers to verify dimensions and tolerances.
- Monitor machine operation to ensure accuracy throughout cutting processes.
- Continually measure work piece dimensions to maintain specs.
- Prioritize workload to meet customer requirements and company goals.
