Job summary

United Communications in Franklin, TN is seeking a Sales Support Coordinator to deliver an outstanding customer experience and coordinate residential sales orders from submission through installation.

In a fast-paced team, you input orders, manage records, track progress across departments, and support reporting and customer communication while applying product knowledge and a local touch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of call center, customer support, or sales support preferred.
• Strong customer service and sales skills with a proven ability to achieve results.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, email, and company support systems.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and listening skills.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Respond to sales team inquiries to assist customers with United's products and services.
• Provide daily sales support: schedule installations/upgrades, reschedule appointments, update reports, handle inquiries by phone/text/email.
• Create accurate new customer orders and accounts in billing/ordering system.
• Maintain detailed records using laptop and software tools.
• Ensure work orders meet submission criteria and compliance requirements.
• Validate services with customers for accuracy.
• Conduct outbound calls to prospected and existing customers to generate business and upgrades.
• Navigate online systems to track orders and coordinate with multiple teams for installation.
• Record and maintain information within the ticketing system.
• Meet productivity and order quality metrics on scorecards.
• Serve as subject matter expert for sales team questions on product/process eligibility.
• Monitor and close trouble tickets and communicate opportunities to management.
• Provide high level of customer service and educate customers on product usage.
