Job description

A Global Machinery Company from Asia in the Florence, KY area is looking for a motivated and Sales Engineer to join their team. The ideal candidates for this Sales Engineering position is someone who has engineering degree (Mechanical or Electrical, Robotic). Also, we are looking for someone who is comfortable to take leadership for their project. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between our technical solutions and customer needs, ensuring that clients receive the best possible service and support. You will be asked to go to customer sites with the project team to commissioning system/machines.

As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for understanding customer requirements, presenting tailored solutions, and driving sales growth through technical expertise of machines and tooling.

You will need a clean driver's license and your own vehicle for this position. You are also required to be able to drive long distances to visit your clients sometimes.

Responsibilities for Sales Engineer with Engineering Background:

• Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential customers.
• Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase our solutions effectively.

Requirements for Sales Engineer with Engineering Background:

• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or Machinal Engineering, Robotic Studies.
• Has some Japanese language skill and cultural understanding is huge plus, but not must.
• Minimum of 1-2 previous experience in sales or technical sales roles, preferably within the robotic sector is asset.
• Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and automation machines.
• Proficiency in analyzing complex problems and providing effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on building lasting relationships with clients.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Clean driver's license record and valid US driver's license.
• Must be US citizen or permanent resident of US (Because we cannot sponsor any immigration visa for this position).
• Ability to do business trips
